AuroraVault - Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the AuroraVault application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

AuroraVault is a cryptocurrency portfolio management application that allows users to:

• Create and manage cryptocurrency wallets
• View real-time cryptocurrency prices and market data
• Send and receive cryptocurrency
• Track portfolio performance
• Swap between different cryptocurrencies

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your account credentials (PIN, recovery phrase) secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

5. Recovery Phrase

Upon account creation, you will receive a 12-word recovery phrase. This phrase is the only way to recover your wallet. You are solely responsible for:

• Securely storing your recovery phrase
• Never sharing your recovery phrase with anyone
• Understanding that loss of your recovery phrase may result in permanent loss of access to your funds

6. KYC/AML Compliance

To comply with applicable laws and regulations, we may require you to complete identity verification (Know Your Customer - KYC) procedures. You agree to:

• Provide valid identification documents when requested
• Ensure all information provided is accurate and current
• Understand that failure to complete KYC may limit your access to certain features

7. Transaction Fees

Cryptocurrency transactions may be subject to network fees and platform fees. All applicable fees will be displayed before you confirm a transaction. You agree to pay all fees associated with your transactions.

8. Risks

You acknowledge and accept the following risks:

• Cryptocurrency values are highly volatile and can decrease significantly
• Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed
• Sending cryptocurrency to an incorrect address may result in permanent loss
• Regulatory changes may affect the availability of certain features

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
• Use the App for money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuroraVault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or cryptocurrency, arising from your use of the App.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles.
